Saman Peyman is an actress, devisor, and creative born in Israel with Iranian roots.
Time to time, Saman finds herself ruminating in the deep and writing poetry then hanging upside down on a tree with a red clown nose (refer to gallery). This dance between depth and humor are what compel Saman the most, and storytelling, along with the active imagination and empathy required of acting, are what help her understand the complexities of the human experience. Saman has trained in clowning and commedia dell’arte at Accademia Dell’Arte in Italy and earned her BA in Theater Performance and Creative Writing at Fordham University, ‘23.
Saman has acted in four Off-Off Broadway plays in New York City in addition to her performances in plays and devised works at Fordham. Her work also extends to several student films and a mini web-series during her time in New York. During her adolescence in Los Angeles, Saman appeared in two independent films and worked on the set of Nickalodeon as an extra before she decided to seriously pursue the performing arts.
Outside of performing, Saman runs a small jewelry business called Solace Jewelry.
