Exile is a an experimental short film study on the stages of abjection in order of (1) Trance, (2) Reverie, (3) Abjection, and (4) Trance. Trance is a used as a mechanism of escape and self-hypnosis in the painful circumstance of having one’s conception of reality shattered.
